supposed to be blading day, but became bowling day
met up with weiru, bao, vernon and bing today. we were planning to blade at east coast park but it poured like mad, so we decided to bowl. at first, we thought the rain would stop, so we waited at macs for like abt an hour plus. we bought some food to munch on while the wait. i shared a oreo cheesecake with bao, vernon and weiru had shaker fries and bing had the stupidest: mcflurry. so cold lah!
the rain didnt stop after all, so we headed over to the bowling centre. at the counter, weiru said the funniest thing.
man at counter: yes?
weiru: uhhhh. bowling.
me: duhhh!!!
wahlao.we laughed like crazy.
weiru malu. haha.
first round, the guys were like failing. could really hit much. and well, i won the first round! by 20 plus! the guys werent satisfied that i won though. they had to win me. so after the second round, bing won. by like 4 or smth. but we had alot of laughs during the games.
bing had this "unique" style while bowling. his KUNGFU/DANCING style. damn funny. couldnt take a pic cos he wouldnt let me. he would know and then control his action. oh mann. if anyone wants to see, i can pose for you if you want. haha. and vernon's first part of second game damn cui. every turn he only hit one. haha! sad. but after that, he started striking and sparing. idiot. mann does he have a huge band of cheerleaders. you know what mean? :D whoots.
vernon went off first, while the rest of us bus-ed to parkway parade. was supposed to play a round of shooting. but nobody wanted to play with me. how sad. and the price to play was like $1.10! you gotta be kidding me. what a weird number! haha. so we just went for a little walk to some shops. then weiru went home with bao while bing and i headed to long johns for dinner. its been a long time since i talked to bestie like in person. so yeah. it was cool. headed home after dinner.
i finally can be bothered to continue about the trip. :D
day 5! welcome to MOUNT TITLIS!
woke up at 6am today when im supposed to wake up at 7. got rudely awoken by caleb. -_- you owe me my sleep. went down for breakfast and afterwhich, we took a train down to engelberg. from there, we took three diffenrent typs of cable cars up to mount titlis. the first is the mormal kind you take up to genting, the second is a huge rectangular one, and the last one is a huge circular one that revolves, so you can take a look at the scenery. the temperature at the highest point was -15 degress celcius! so damn damn cold! my feet were frozen SOLID! excruciating pain mann. :( felt like chopping them off. we took some pics on the mountain and quickly took the cable cars back down cos it was too cold to handle! but it was such a breath taking experience.
on the train back to luzern, we saw the same singaporean family that took the train tgt with us to engelberg! so coincidental! i was like shocked. haha. i wanted to ask them if they really are singaporeans, but too PAISEH lah. haha. :D
back at luzern, we crossed a bridge to the other side where most of the shops were. bought souveniors for myself and others there. walked over to the lion monument after that, cos mummy wanted to see it so badly. as we were walking to the monument, we saw this humongous sweet shop! YUM! it sold like every kind of sweet there is! it had even had a HUMONGOUS section just dedicated to pick and mixing of JELLY BEANS! whoots. thats really eyeCANDY for you. haha. it was dark when we got there, so we couldnt see a thing! -_- mummy was diappointed though. the sky in europe darkens super early. at 5pm!
so we went restaurant hunting to settle our dinner. we finally settled down in movenpick, and the food was mm-mm-mmm delicious! i had thai-chicken curry with rice. damn shiok! but small serving though. :(
headed back to the hotel after dinner. after being in switzerland for like 6 days, i have concluded that: SWITZERLAND IS DOGGY PARADISE! :D my paradise! everywhere you go, you see dogs! restaurants and even retail stores! whoots to swiss ppl! (:
