trip to Borough Market!
so, supposed to wake up early today, like abt 5:30am, but just couldnt get up. too tired! slpt at 12:30am the night b4. the adults were chit-chatting abt stuff, so i joined them. really interesting actually. laughed alot. we were actually supposed to go to some fish market in the early morning, but went to Borough Market in the end. arianna kept sticking to me today. dunno why. she likes ME lah. :Dit was like a gourmet market. everywhere you turn, stalls only sell FOOD. :D there was a fish stall, where i saw this shark head sticking up, dang cool. :D walked arnd, tried the sample food, bought some little snacks and took some pics. saw this dish, where they melted this HUGE chunk of cheese, and then scraped the melted part off onto some potato cubes. looked serious delicious, but was too full to eat anymore. sadly.we went to the market by bus, then subway, and you know what, children under 16 could go in free! wah! is like i just missed it can. -_- ex lah. take 2 stops need to pay £1.50. thats like $4.50 singapore dollars! -_- stupid.we actually went without arianna and her mum, so after the market trip, went back to fetch them, to go to this HUMONGOUS park! dunno whats the name of it though. next to the park was some museum called greenwich time museum which displayed abt how clocks, time and longitude all started. didnt interest me though. boring. just walked for fun.went for some hot drinks at a cafe, and then came back to the hse. it was like 4:30pm when we came back. so early can. -_- oh well.Day 2! welcome to BERN!woke up at 6:30 and got ready to go down for breakfast. it was typical american buffet breakfast. :D the sign on the door said: "no take away". but do you think we cared? -_- we did what typical singaporeans would do. DA BAO! :D we werent da bao-ing cos we're just kiasu okay. food in europe is like damn ex, so we had to improvise to save money. (:went to Bern, took train again. -_- but we took the ICE train today. really nice. it had individual sorta rooms, so it looked a little like the train in harry potter films! (: sat for quite long too. played word search with mummy. she lost to me as usual, just like every OTHER word game. buck up dear mummy. jiayou. (: walked arnd bern looking for a museum to go into, and finally found a history museum. it consisted of einstein, medieval, egyptian, etc exhibitions. you'll never have guessed that einstein was so dang scandalous. he had lotsa affairs! his poor wife. -_- went to mac's again for lunch. caleb got a happy meal, and all of us had hot choc! mm-mm-mmm! (: we ate our da bao-ed food and then headed out.went to the bear pit and thought that it was going to be a BIG one. turns out, it was a TINY one. with only 2 bears. -_- how exciting. bought fruits for the bears. threw it in the air, and the bears would catch them. super cute. (:after that, walked arnd some more, took more pics, and went to the supermarket called coops to stock up on snacks. :D im all abt junk food. :Dheaded back to interlakenfor dinner. ate at a pizzeria. we had risotto, pizza and green lasagne. (: mm-mm-mmm! :D risotto is rice soaked in sorta like diluted tomato sauce with ham, mushroom and cheese. (: the pizza contained anchovis, which are like the salty version of ikan bilis. kinda yucky though. after eating, it was time to head back to the hotel, and hit the sack.
